July 2010 – Moved Ministry Center operations to leased facilities adjacent to the Crossroads Campus in an effort to begin the process of building our own ministry center building.
December 2008 – Opened the Crossroads Campus.
January 2008 – Received permitting from Cherokee County and began construction to bring the property up to commercial building code standards.
November 2007 – Purchased the HopeQuest Crossroads campus.
July 2007 – Initiated the development of program components for youth and young adults.
January 2007 – Established the women’s component of the TREK program.
January 2007 – Opened the fourth residence for TREK program participants.
June 2006 – Opened the Ministry Center on Arnold Mill Road in Woodstock, Georgia.
April 2006 – Opened the third residence for TREK program participants.
January 2006 – Established the women’s component for the Walking Free program.
January 2005 – Opened the second residence for TREK program participants.
December 2004 – Received 501-(c)-(3) tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service for The HopeQuest Ministry Group, Inc.
September 2004 – Became a referral ministry affiliated with Exodus International North America, Inc.
June 2004 – As a result of insurance requirements, a corporate entity named The HopeQuest Ministry Group, Inc. was formed, and ownership of OneWay, TREK, Walking Free, and Journey was transferred from First Baptist Church in Woodstock, Georgia to The HopeQuest Ministry Group, Inc.
October 2002 – Established the Journey program, a non-residential discipleship and counseling program for spouses of those who struggle with sexual brokenness.
October 2000 – Established the Walking Free program, a non-residential accountability and support group for sexual brokenness (men’s component).
March 2000 – Established the TREK program, an intensive residential discipleship and counseling program for alcohol, substance abuse, and sexual brokenness concerns.
January 2000 – Opened first residence for OneWay program participants.
October 1999 – Applied to become a member referral ministry affiliated with Exodus International North America, Inc.
June 1999 – Established OneWay, a non-residential accountability and support ministry for alcohol and substance abuse.
January 1998 – Pastoral Counseling Ministry founded at First Baptist Church in Woodstock, Georgia.
August 1996 – Roy Blankenship joined the pastoral ministry staff at First Baptist Church in Woodstock, Georgia.
